How y'all and youse guys talk. (My result - most similar = Augusta, Richmond, Birmingham, and Jackson. Least similar = all the western states)

What are your results? Post 'em here:

This was a frustrating experience
I answered all the question, but when time came to divulge the results, the program bombed.
Ah well! I did not expect much anyway, given that my first language is French and after living in United States for more than 13 years, I still struggle with a lot of English expressions.

Good luck everyone else!

I took that quiz yesterday after seeing it (then forwarding it) on Facebook.

Mine came out as heavily typical of the area between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia - which was spot on. It also cited only one secondary location - Salt Lake City, which I agree with after recalling local ways of speaking and terminology when I've been there.

The TITLE of the quiz omitted my main term to refer to folks - "younz". How could they leave THAT term out, I ask alla younz?

Chantal, the first time I took the quiz the same thing happened to me. I waited a few days, took it again, and it was fine. I waited another 3-4 days to post it here. Figured they had the bugs worked out. But apparently there's still a problem. So sorry that happened to you.

I'll try again in 2014, Patrish. Meanwhile, I will work on my English skills. :tongue3:

This was pinpoint perfect!! It said New York/NY, Yonkers/NY, and Newark/NJ all within an hour of me!! Very Cool! The least similar was lower Alabama and the mid-west!!
