Disagree. The food isn't very good, but the entertainment is hilarious. It's not for everyone, but it certainly is funny to many people... us included. I'll definitely go back some day for a third visit.

Our food was ok at Dick's and at the time we had a bunch of teenagers along and you all know how they love insults...so it was a hit! However, I like Umberto's at BFLanding.

this is a post I made before.. thought I'd share it with you.. I thought the same things about Dirty dicks til I went there..

Went to Dirty dicks crabhouse at 1101 hwy 17 N. in N. Myrtle Beach for dinner.I'm not fond of that name & this was our first visit. Had the most delightful young man as a server, & his name was Kevin. He had a knack with conversation, and seemed to be able to pick up on personalities also. He knew what we would or wouldn't like just after talking with us. (Love that kid) We chose the grilled grouper, which came with rice pilaf, some kind of cajun bean dish, hush puppies, & ordered cheesy grits on the side.He said it was enough that we would be able to share one order, and he was right. We had leftover everything, except grouper. It was wonderful! Great food, great server, great place to go.I called Dirty dicks today and ask for the manager so I could praise both our server, and the great food!

Hi Lou, they were asking about Dick's Last Resort at Barefoot Landing, which is known for their rude service, Dirty Dick's is totally different, it is a lot more upscale
and is at the northern end of North Myrtle Beach.

It does get confusing, when you have roughly 1900 places to eat and many names sound alike.

I'm with you on that one Gino. Maggie Moos is a meal in itself. The thought of Maggie Moos is gonna make these next few weeks even harder to deal with.

Absolutely love Maggie Moo's! I asked the kids where they wanted to eat when we're there next week - Maggie Moo's, lol! And it's just so convenient since we stay at Ocean Creek

Keep in mind, we haven't been to MB since 2008, but we'll be back in Aug. also ( next week!) & can't wait to return to T Bonz!

I remember everyone raving over & being very pleased with everything we ordered. Everything we had was served hot & fresh & the service was fast. I particularly remember the beer being ICE COLD too :beerchug: . Just right on a hot day. They also have the.best.cheese fries...that my daughter can't WAIT to get her hands on again lol. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone! I believe I had a steak & remember enjoying it very much and my baked potato was hot, fresh & fluffy!

I helped a friend plan her MB trip for last year & recommended T Bonz (and many, many other places lol) to her & they also loved it.

We have hit up just about every restaurant there is in BL. Some may even be gone now. In regards to the Dick's Last Resort (not Dirty Dicks as some people seem to get confused) the restaurant is supposed to be rude, run down, almost like a total dump. I don't remember how the food was, but like everyone else said I think it was only okay. It's almost like going for dinner and a show. Anyway, I'd say our favorite is Wild Wing Cafe, back where I live we don't have chain wing places around, it's all bar food which I can't complain, but WWC's wing flavors are excellent. I do like to stop in Bully's for a beer or two as well since they got so many on tap.

Dirty Dick's closed because too many people thought they were Dick's Last Resort. So...no more confusion!

I don't think so, but maybe someone else will know more. This is a list of the current restaurants at BFL and none of them look new.
http://www.bflanding.com/myrtle-beach-restaurants.aspx

The address of Dirty Dick's was 1101 Highway 17 N, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29582 I googled this information, but noting new showed up.

Just as a side note (off topic) Mellow Mushroom is opening where they were!

Thanks for solving that question, Emmy! Nobody should confuse them with Dick's Last Resort!
