Curious if anyone knows the status of the former T Bonz transformation.

This is the only information I have seen which says it will be a Mexican restaurant opening this spring:

I don't usually go to Barefoot, but why go toward a Mexican concept? Personally, if I'm going for Mexican food I'm going to one of the many privately owned Mexican restaurants that you find in a strip mall. Basically the same food or most of the time better, for 1/3 of the price.

Stopped by Barefoot last night. The corner that TBONZ was in was completely torn down. They are putting up a new building. The road that went along the waterway is closed. There’s a building that I think is going to be Lulu’s between Greg Norman’s and where TBONZ used to be. Lots of stuff going on there right now. I didn’t have my phone with me or I would’ve taken some pictures. The conceptual drawing shows that eventually some of the shops will be right up against the dock along the waterway.

Can't wait to check that out in July. We enjoy Barefoot more than Broadway.

I guess the early establishments at BATB and Barefoot have gotten kind of stale outside of a couple of places. Change will at least let them bring in a few people to give the new place a try. The last place I ate at BATB was throwing BBQ place and I wasn't impressed. Might of been and off day.
