Day 7

This is our last day at the beach and the end of trip report I'm afraid. The week just went by too fast.

As I was on my morning walk towards North Beach Planation I noticed a couple of people surrounding something that had washed up on the shore, so I went over to see what it was. Turns out it was a baby shark probably about 3 feet long. It looked like someone was fishing, caught it and didn't know what to do with it. The line was cut and the hook was still in its mouth. When I went back a little later it was gone so I guess it washed out to sea. You never know what you'll see while walking on the beach.

We had another great day on the beach, although it was very hot but I can't complain. The weather this week was awesome.

For dinner tonight we made the short drive to Hamburger Joe's. We had to wait about 20 minutes but we weren't in any hurry. We had eaten here once before and it was as good as I remember it being.

We came back to the condo after dinner and packed most everything in the car for our drive out in the morning. We are going to leave no later than 8:00 to avoid most of the traffic.

It's been another great week here in Myrtle Beach and I hate leaving, but there's always next year to look forward to. I hope everyone enjoyed the trip report and I look forward to reading more trip reports this summer.

Great trip.... and great LIVE report - always appreciate when folks make the effort so we non-beach folks can live vicariously.

Safe Travels !

I hate to see your trip come to an end. I enjoyed following along with your daily activities. Always stinks knowing that the beach trip is coming to an end. Thanks again for the report. Enjoyed it.

Great trip report I really enjoyed reading it! As of last summer they still had the frozen lemonade girls in Surfside beach...

Glad y'all enjoyed reading it. I just hate that it couldn't last any longer, but I'm thankful I was able to go when I could. My wife's eye did get better after a few days, we think it was some sand that just got up in there.
