Hi Lou, I sent the owner as well as the GM a copy of your post, as Jeremy should get credit for being such a great server and making y'all feel so good, that's what a dinning experence is about, feeling good, not just so much good or great food.

It's why I like Mortons and Ruths Chris so much, not for the food, as it is overpriced and not the best, I can get much better steaks for half the price at many places here, but the service and rapport is what makes it a dinning experence that is hard to find elsewhere, consistantly.

Gary do you have a URL for the restaurant? Would love to check out the menu. Thanks!

Love the report Lou, Keep it up!

Here's the link to the site http://www.dirtydickscrabs.com/ordereze/intro1.html

They have 3 or 4 locations, they were originally from the Outer Banks

Be warned music plays on the site, I try and tell folks not to use
music but some don;t listen and lose folks who found them, why. because
a lot of folks search for places while at work and they will close the site
real fast.

This also is one of many places that offer discounts in my fundraising book,
they offer a BOGO 1/2 price and is good 4 times for lunch or dinner.

Thanks Gary! Wow thought I had a fast connection and it took a bit to load. Lucky I am at home so the music isn't a issue like that. However I do find it annoying that it just starts playing.

Menu looks good. I'll write that down so we go there next time. Sounds like a bunch of fun.

The Fundraising book, is that like a Entertainment book?

regarding Dirty dicks crabhouse... the servers name was kevin. I edited my post and corrected it, so if you go to dirty dicks you can ask for Kevin and tell him the couple celebrating their 52 anniversary sent you...lol. sorry I got his name wrong.

missing, yes it is like the Entertainment book, I sent you a private message, I think it worked, with the website. If you did not get it, I guess if you ask again, folks won't get to upset with me if I post it in response to your question.

I also let Jack and Dale know the servers correct name, 52 years married, dang that's outstanding, God bless you both.

went to sticky fingers at barefoot landing for lunch today, and each of us ordered a stuffed potato, which was $6.99 each and included the salad. That thing was the biggest potato I have ever seen in my life! It was at least a foot long and thick around the middle, and came stuffed with your choice of either pulled brisket (which we had) or pulled chicken, or pulled pork, with BBQ sauce, topped with cheese, and had butter & sour cream on the side, plus you get a salad. We were thinking a normal potato??? It was sooo good, but here again we could've shared! (we must be slow learners) That would have made a really cheap lunch! It would make a good dinner too.

we went to The Sea Captains restaurant tonite instead of good fellas seafood hut. We got there at 5:30 and slid right in. the people behind us formed the waiting line. Isn't that luck? we could see the waterfront better from where we were sitting than the area thats actually called 'waterfront seating'. We had 'The Captain’s Seafood Muddle', which has Sautéed Shrimp, Scallops, Fish, Mussels and Clams in a Saffron Tomato Broth with Bacon, Potatoes, Celery and Herbs, Served with Fresh Bread. We had one and shared it, shared a salad(she brought us an extra plate) had hush puppies, & a piece of key lime pie, which we shared, and it came to $48 and some change. It is located at 30th and Ocean blvd. We are going there for breakfast in the morning as we bid Myrtle beach good by and head for Ohio... but ...we're coming back in October, and bringing 2 sons and their wives... yippeeee!!! By the way, the servers really hustle, and the waiting line seemed to move pretty fast.
