August 26 to Sept 17 - Were supposed to leave New Jersey on Sunday morning, but the storm Irene should be here in Jersey then so decided to leave tomorrow morning instead to beat Irene (advantage of being retired, you can leave early). Thought of leaving after Irene goes through but I still remember after a hurricane years ago Interstate 95 near Rocky Mount NC flooded and there was a 180 mile detour.

When I posted our trip to MB back in June some people asked me to post pictures of St Clements and I never quite got to it.I am sorry for the delay, but here are the pictures I can find of a few different rooms we stayed in. It not not huge or luxurious but we have enjoyed being there for 16 years now. Parking is easy and it is very quiet and the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. (the blue and white umbrella in the pic is ours)

My son is leaving tomorrow and will stay overnight somewhere and get to the beach on Saturday. Something else to cause his mother to worry with this weather.

Bruce, thanks for the link to your pictures of St. Clements. It looks like a nice place! I hope you don't mind that I moved it to trip reports and added the word pictures. I think more people will see it here, and everyone loves to look at pictures. Feel free to post again under the "When will you be here?" topic!

Yes...retirement DOES have its benefits! :sunny:
