I know this is dragging on so I will bullet point the rest.
Thursday......
I slept late as Patti and Jordan went to breakfast.
We all went to the beach til Hurricane Earl drove the surf almost to the sea grass.
off to Calabash for lunch at Ellas and to walk around Callahans.GREAT lunch and we bought a few Christmas and nautical items at Callahans.
More shopping at beach shops and driving around.
Stopped for oysters at Rockefellers. While waiting for food we played those pull tab tickets that come out of a sort of vending machine. In N.Y. we have them in some American Legion posts. We ended up getting 3 emeralds on one ticket. $1000

What a great way to end the vacation. We split it 3 ways. Jordan bought X-Box on line equipt. amongst other things.Patti bought cloths and I bought a new bow for hunting.
Jordan and Patti to condo for Big Brother and then mini golf at Mt.Atlanticus and I was off to Murphys Law for the Bills preseason game.
After the game we all walked on the beach and enjoyed the night air. After an hour or so Patti went upstairs and Jordan and I hit the arcade for our evening ritual.
Upstairs to bed.
Friday and Saturday......
We were supposed to stay til Saturday but we decided instead of driving 14 hrs and leaving at 3.30 in the morning on Saturday, we'd leave after lunch and drive to Winchester Virginia, and the remainder of the way Saturday morning.
Hit the beach for awhile, loaded the car and off to lunch at El Carro Grande. We LOVE this place.
Said our tearful good byes to Paradise and we were on our way.Pretty uneventful til about 45 mins from Winchester, where we caught the edge of Earl.Watched the thermostat in the card rop 15 degrees, literally in 3 mins. Some stron rain for about 10 mins and then it was gone,or we passed by the edge of it.
Pulled into hotel and ordered pizza and watched t.v..Off to bed.
Up early and on the rd by 8.30. Pulled in the drivedway at around 2.30,happy to be home, but sad that it'll be almost a year before we can return to Myrtle Beach.
I hope you enjoyed our travels and as always, lets promise to stay in touch during the cold months. You have all really become my second family.
