My family & I stayed from 9/5/09-9/12/09 at Dunes Village Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in Condo/Unit 1212 owned and rented by jeffscondos.com. I have been going to the beach on vacation once or twice a year for the past 34 years and this unit is the best and nicest place I have ever stayed at the beach. This condo was beautifully decorated, clean, had lots of room, (4 bedrooms with 1 kingsize bed, 6 queensize beds, 1 queensize sleeper sofa and 1 twinsize sleeper sofa, 5 TVs, DVD players, 4 bathrooms with 2 jacuzzi, kitchen, living room/dining room/bar, washer & dryer) lots of small appliances, beach boards, chairs, toys, etc and everything you need for a great vacation. The oceanfront and oceanside views were awesome from this 12th floor corner unit. The pictures of this unit on the website does not show the unit's actual beauty, space and amenities. I was amazed with the beautfully designed unit, all the space, amenities and the large oceanfront balcony views. Jeff has everything you need in this unit to make it your "home away from home" and all you need to take are your clothes and food. The resort has many great amenities too (lots of pools, hot tubs, lazy rivers, kiddie pools, children activities, games, karaoke, live bands, tiki bar, lounge, resturants, convenience store, security, valet parking, etc.) and is very family oriented. I'm not sure if the above post is a pitch for your condo but I totally agree on everything else said. We we're at the Dunes 9/4-12th. and had friends staying in the suite 1412, which is above 1212. Unbelievable!!! For the price paid it was just awesome. I think it was about $300 a night, which when divided up between the amount of people that stayed in there, was a steal. We stayed in 1102, my nephew was in 1105, and had nieces staying in 408.....all units were spotless.

Strange report, but if it is real then TTS should look for a job in marketing

I just got around to reading this trip report. I think our members are pretty smart, and I'm very proud of y'all.

As I have said many, many times before, when you read a recommendation for a restaurant, accommodation, or entertainment, take a look at the poster. How many times have they contributed to the forum? How helpful have they been to other members? How reliable is their word?

Ron (Ichiban) and I can't patrol this site 24-7 (although we often come close!) TeeTeeHess is a creative writer and obviously trying to fly under the radar. If I had come across this post before anyone responded, I probably would have deleted some information. But y'all aren't about to let anyone pull the wool over your eyes, and I like that! Just remember the old adage: Buyer Beware!
