I am overwhelmed at the sacrifices our members are so willing to make in order to provide our message board with up to date reviews and information on new restaurants. :clown:

My wife, daughter and I ate at a tilted kilt in Clearwater, FL. First off, I'll say that my wife has no problem eating at our local Hooters. We found the menu to be much better than Hooters as others have said. The girls are scantily dressed, but none of us felt uncomfortable. My daughter is almost 13 and maybe because we eat at Hooters some she was not bothered by the waitress atttire. I'm not sure if we will head there on our upcoming trip or not, but it wont be because of the atmosphere, it will be because of all the other wonderful choices at the beach!!

z02dsl you mentioned Columbus ohio. Bob & I (Lou) live in Gallipolis which is on the Ohio river. We go to Columbus ohio once a month for a business meeting. Have you been to polaris mall, and the restaurants around there? There are some awesome ones near the mall.

The Tilted Kilt just opened a few miles from us here in the old Bennigan's building. They do have a great selection of food, compared to Hooters. I've had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich which was excellent, and can't find it at any of the Hooters in this area. The 2nd time there I had Chef Flannery's steak, which was excellent also. The Garlic mashed potatoes are outstanding too.

Brittany had chicken tenders the first time, and they were good she said, and Mary had Mckayla's garden which is a flat bread pizza. That was excellent she said. The 2nd time Brit had Ian's shrimp basket, and those were excellent, because I had one while she wasn't looking. Mary had the Scottish Cheese steak which she said okay. She said the bread wasn't fresh, so that gave it the okay rating. Other appetizers that were tried were the Chips and Salsa, and the Spinach artichoke dip, which I didn't have but Brittany and her friend did. They could have ate that as there meal.

Will be going back soon, we have to because we have a coupon for free Roasted Garlic fries. Stacy, Stephanie, Taylor and Mary say they are delicious! Soon I will know all the names. :clown:

Wished I had seen more on this before my June trip. Workers were walking around Broadway and handing out some pretty good coupons when we where there. I just didn't know what the food would be like. May give it a try next year.

Funny reviews. We have been wanting to try this place. Will maybe hit it this year. Gotta laugh about the "atmosphere" reviews. My guess is that some of the attire at the beach is much more offending than the waitress get ups. I for one have never understood all the hoopla about hooters girls and such, :dontknow: like I said, I think you see much worse on a beach, where alot of the skimpy dressers should probably be wearing alot more clothing than what they are!!!
