Has anybody found a Spanish supermarket in the Myrtle Beach area that they have been to? I saw a couple listed in the yellow pages but figured I 'd ask instead of running to all of them. The items I'm hunting for are not in any of the regular supermarkets.

Patrish- any ideas?

Sorry, Miriam, I can't help you with this, but I know some grocery stores such as the new Pig at Market Common, Lowes Foods, Bi-Lo and even Wal-Mart are featuring a lot more specialty products than they have ever had in the past.

Hopefully someone can give you a better answer. Good to see you on the board. Hope you're enjoying your new home.

There is a very small Spanish shop in the Windy Hill Shopping Center on 17 in NMB. It's right near the tiny post office. The next time I'm up that way I'll try to find out the name of it.

Thanks- I went up towards Windy Hill today looking for one I saw listed in the phone book but couldn't find it- it looked like it should be right in front of the new Bi-Lo.

Hi Patrish-
Yes I'm here for about 5 weeks, then back to NY to work. Then I'll be down for part/most of Oct. The House is complete. Trying to get fixed all the things the builder screwed up (not covered by warrently since they went bankrupt). Beautiful house, but very lonely- all the people have formed their groups. Oh well.

You were in the right location, just the wrong side of 17. The shopping center w/ the spanish store is across the street (northbound 17) from the new BiLo (southbound 17). There's a Jersey Mike's sub shop in the front of the parking lot, an ABC store on one end and a laundromat on the other. Oscar's restaurant is beside the shopping center.
