So if you're here now or soon.....

Stein Mart at Inlet Square (Murrells Inlet) is closing. Their new location is near Kohl's in South Strand Commons Hwy. 17 Bypass. The Inlet Square location is have in a going-out-of-business sale. I was there yesterday (9/18/15). Women's clothing and accessories are now 75% off the marked price (some already discounted, so that's off the already-discounted price.) Housewares and Men's are 50% to 70% off. The Inlet Square is scheduled to close Sept. 15 or when they sell out. The new location will open around mid-October.

We arrive on the 29th....in a few days :sunny: . So we will have to stop in we are staying at the north end but I am wanting to do some exploring on the south end, as we have only been as far as Lakewood campground. Is it kind of close by to that or farther south?? Any hints as to places we need to see(while @ south end) or for hunting shells??

Here's a map from Lakewood down to Inlet Square Mall:

Here's another map from Inlet Square going south to Huntington Beach State Park:

The admission to Huntington Beach State Park is $5. per adult, and you can find anything else you want to know about it here:

It has two roads to access the ocean, a great activity center (if you have children they can pet the stingrays and many other things to do) and the shelling there is good.

Hope you have a fantastic vacation!

I was just asking about this store on Facebook last night! lol I've never heard of it before, just saw a commercial on Food Network advertising it. Got online and found a quilt I want to get for my bedroom - it's gorgeous. Is it a good store? Quality items? Won't be down there until the 13th, have to see if it's still open then.

Stein Mart is a good store with lots of name brand items. We had one in Roanoke before we moved here, so I was happy to find the chain in MB. Inlet Square has lost so many businesses, and I hate to see that happening. But the new Stein Mart should do really well in its new location.
