QVC will be coming to the 501 Tanger Outlet in November. It will be next to Izod. Just in time for Christmas!

I recall there was a QVC outlet at Waccamaw Outlet in the center near FreeStyle Park. Selection was low quality and not impressive, plus the merchandise was just thrown on the shelves.

Hopefully the new one will be more "upscale" !

Oh my goodness this gave me chills. I have so missed the outlet since it left
Waccamaw. Can't Wait.

Well the QVC outlet has been opened for some time now - how is it? Does it seem to carry nice things or is it junk? We stay way out by the other outlet mall so trying to decide if I want to make the drive. My family and some friends make fun of me  for buying so much from QVC while I'm at home so would love to see if there are any bargains at the outlet.

Thanks

Designer handbags - yes. Jewelry - yes. Clothes and shoes - maybe, although even at 50% off, a lot of it was priced higher than I would be willing to pay.

They still have lots of what some people might call junk, like seasonal items you can find anywhere else for probably less money. I was there shortly after Christmas, and they had to "sacrifice" what they had left by reducing it 75% - the price it probably should have been to start.

But that's just my opinion. I have a friend from Roanoke who goes there religiously, each time she comes to the beach. I know she would tell you it's worth the trip, whereas I would go in and look, only if I were already in the area.

There now! That doesn't help a bit, does it! :clown:

We passed through the QVC outlet last fall while vacationing in MB. I didn't buy anything, but my sister in law bought 4 pairs of Birkenstock sandals, and they were at greatly reduced prices. I don't know though, for some reason, the QVC store just doesn't "do it" for me. It just seems sort of messy and disorganized. I looked at some of the jewelry which actually looked tarnished. They also had some designer handbags, but you can go to the Coach Outlet store and get much better deals. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for!

Thanks for the input and yes Patrish it did help. I think I will spend the time it would take to drive there on the beach!!! If for some reason, we are out that way and happen to drive by maybe we will stop....probably ONLY if I'm driving though...the guys will "just" miss the drive to turn in.
