Coming back to the beach again next week 4th time down this year. Was wondering what the shelling is like this time of year. Was down a few weeks ago also and didn't find any shells or sharks teeth. Seems the shell line was covered in sand then. Is the shell line covered in sand during September and later months unlike in the spring and summer? Thanks

Hi Chris... Not sure where you're staying and I likely missed that post if you said... Alan had his cargo shorts full of some really neat shells yesterday on the north end of Shore Drive heading south in front of Dunes Club... State park is always a good place to find shark teeth. and where ever you are, if it's all sand, go down near the water line and dig down a bit... You should hit a shell line a few inches down... If not just move around a bit... Good Luck!
By the way, Tuesday the 29th will be a message board meet up at second avenue pier... free parking at the pier ... 6 pm... Come meed some of the other message board folks...

Thanks for the reply and invite will be staying at the Breakers. Have had good success thru there in the spring and summer months. Was down a couple weeks ago and the beach was just all sand and no shell line. Didn't know if if was like that just during the fall and winter months.
