My family is planning a trip to Myrtle Beach around labor day and I was wondering about the pier fishing.

Do any of the piers allow you to fish at night? The ones I have been to in VA and NC are open 24 hours, so I was just wondering.

We usually just fish for fun releasing everything we catch unless there is someone else on the pier that wants it. So, is there any license requirements since we are from out of state?

I do know that the Pier At Garden City is open 24hrs for
fishing and they have a guard after 11pm . The little shop
is also open for bait and coffee etc...well lit up with
light as well as went night time in July and had a great
time. No license for any peir fishing is required at all.
