As I am laying here trying to go to sleep, I am thinking about our upcoming trip to Myrtle Beach in September. The main thing I am thinking about is where I want to eat. My top 5 places I want to go are:
1. Basils Pizza in Cherry Grove
2. Dirty Don's Oyster Bar
3. Liberty Steakhouse at BATB
4. Crab Catchers in Little River
5. Tie between Ultimate California Pizza and Burro Loco
Of course I won't get to go to all these because I have to let Lorraine choose also.
What is your top five?

From what many of us understand, Liberty Steakhouse has really gone downhill the past few years. I haven't been to it in quite some time but from reading others' reviews from last season, many won't go back.

My top 5 are as follows though:

1. Nacho Hippo
2. Villa Romana
3. River City Cafe
4. Drunken Jack's
5. Carolina Roadhouse

4.Beaver Bar tie with Flying Fish
5 Burro Loco

Biminis might be on our "try a new one" list for this year. I've heard good things about it.

My top 5 must go in no particular order

Driftwood
Prosser's
California Dreaming

Heck, I could probably just rotate these three. :beerchug: We will go to others, but these are the three that I really enjoy and look forward to every year. New China is not bad and Angelo's if you can get in for the early bird special. Too expensive for me if you can't.

Well I never had a bad experience at Liberty, but it has been 3 years since we have been there. Carolina Road house is one of Lorraine's favorites and I love there prime rib, so it is an easy replacement for Liberty.

I have heard the same about Liberty. Not what is use to be and the reviews have not been great. Our last meal about two years ago was a little disappointing. We have not been back since. Service and quality seem to be the issues.

The only time I have ate at Liberty I enjoyed the meal. The company my wife and I shared may have helped since it was Patrish and Wally after a small meetup. Hard to believe that was probably 10 years ago this summer if memory serves me correctly.

Since we have started camping with my in laws so much I couldnt really put out a top 5. We dont eat out like we use to as just a couple. Creek Ratz was one of the spots I enjoyed most when my wife I ventured out together. Loved the smaller setting and the food was great the one time we ate there.

This is hard

I just looked at Patrish's list and really hate that we don't get to South Myrtle more often. Gonna have to try Salt Creek Cafe.

1. Carolina Roadhouse
2. Drunkin Jacks
3. Crab Catchers (food only, they need to clean it up)
4. Croissants Bistro & Bakery (Breakfast)
5. Tie between Ultimate California Pizza (best pizza) & River City Cafe (Best greasy burger)

1. Bimini's (We usually go twice during the week.)
2. Crossroads at the House of Blues. Great food and always use a Restaurant.com gift certificate.
3. Original Benjamin's - We go here on year's we do a buffet, not every year.
4. Ultimate California Pizza - Always our MB pizza night.
5. Chuck's - If we have the money for a steak night.

Less than five weeks to go!

Deanna, it's interesting that most of us locals' favorites are not far from home. I could have easily listed some that Bruce mentioned, and we don't live far from each other. And the restaurant where we eat the most times in any give year is P.F. Chang because it's practically next door.
