Christine, I'm not sure if you're bragging or complaining :???:
.

I wish I had your problems of Image in Myrtle Beach or Image at home.
.

I would personally prefer Image at the Image any time :wav:
.

Any time you're not Image is a good time.
.

Image it's coming soon Image

I was just outside shoveling the wicked white stuff. 40mph wind coupled with 12 degree temperatures. Hoodie weather in Ohio.

Patrish - I am very partial to cool ocean breezes, especially in Myrtle Beach. I'm very much looking forward to being there again this summer.

To the northerners on this board....I lived in northern Indiana, so I understand what you're going thru. But I will readily acknowledge you guys are way tougher than I am. I simply could not deal with that stuff anymore. I've become too much of a weather wimp.

Don, I am not bragging or complaining. Lol. We love being able to be here for winter. We have friends who winter in Florida and Texas and they think we are crazy for coming to Myrtle Beach but we enjoy every minute of our winter here. I will NEVER give up coming here in winter as long as we can!

I'm hoping that I'll be able to be in MB during the winter too once I retire.

I am not a happy camper. Was praying that we made it through the winter without any major weather issues. Well we almost did. Here in Pigeon Forge, Tn we are housebound today. It looks like we may be that way for a few days. The steep road we live on is covered with ice. Unfortunately temperatures are going to be well below freezing until Saturday. Hoping for a miracle but it looks like we may be trapped for awhile. I guess it could be worse,as of right now we still have power. Suppose to get to -2 Thursday night. Did I ever tell you how much I hate winter!!!

Aw...Judy...being housebound is no fun...we have had a lot of ice this winter...and the frigid temps seem to be settling in...it is 10 degrees here in SE Ohio...-5 about 4am this morning...I really dislike winter as well...we had about 3" snow last night and predictions say about 3 more inches overnight tonight...at least we are able to get out if we need too...having power is a plus...been without before for two weeks...it was awful! I hope the weather improves soon and your road melts off...

According to weather.com it seems to be pretty cold in Myrtle Beach, too.

-14 expected here tomorrow night. I have to open the cupboard doors under my kitchen sink and let the water drip all the time to keep the pipes from freezing. Houses in Ohio were never built for this kind of brutal cold.

I may live in the only place in the country where we hate to see winter end and summer arrive.

We have had major snow in Kentucky the last couple of days. Over a foot of snow in a lot of places and added about three inches this morning. I can't wait for the cold to leave and enough warmth to get outside and do a few things. The mid-March through April time frame may be my favorite time of the year. Just a different feeling in the air when things start to come alive again.
