So, my diet starts today for our beach vacation. As I am struggling through 4 cups of lettuce with 3 tbsp. of dressing, I realize how ridiculous and vain I am. I live on rabbit food and water until vacation. Then as soon as we arrive, it's on! And I mean like Donkey Kong! Vacation in our house means no cooking and eating whatever you want. 3 Krispy Kremes in 1 sitting is part of vacation. Please please please tell me that I'm not the only one that does this!

Well I can join you...I try to watch my weight all the time...and really have good intentions as vacation starts...but then all the options on the menus look so yummy...and well there is always tomorrow!

I try to keep in shape also, but it's the panic that sets in when I realize I have to rock that swimsuit in front of strangers. And there's also always the after-vacation diet because I have little self control when looking at the once a year menus.

I live a healthy lifestyle in my day to day life, but I eat what I want on vacation. However, I get up early in the morning and walk/jog for an hour on the beach to minimize the impact. Also, I still eat lightly at breakfast and lunch because I want to go crazy at dinner. If I eat too much during the day, it makes me not very hungry for dinner.
