I just liked ya, Mike...I didn't know you had a page! Cool!

This was on the MM facebook page:

OK fans, here is what we know for now. TLC has put filming on hold for now. We haven't been cancelled.
Please go to TLC's FB page & website and let them know you want us back. We appreciate your support!!

I'm guilty of watching Party Down South instead of Myrtle Manor this year. I know that most of reality TV is scripted, but MM was way too obvious with it this season. The trailer park rival, blue dye in pool, race against the other owner etc... was just too obvious that it was all planned out for TV. Hopefully if they get another shot, they will try a little less when coming up with a plot if that makes any sense.

Do we need to email anyone Mike? Post on the TLC facebook page? If not, I will patiently wait.

The network is getting SLAMMED with messages - check them out. Please add yours.

I've posted the following on my own Facebook fan page, the Myrtle Manor main fan page, and on various cast members' Facebook pages:

------------------------------------------

Here is the link to TLC's Facebook page - please take a minute to like it and post that you want to see Welcome to Myrtle Manor renewed for a Season 3, and a brief comment why!

https://www.facebook.com/TLC?fref=ts

Another way to request a Season 3 of Welcome to Myrtle Manor:
Go to the “Viewer Relations” page for the network’s parent site, the input form will display. Be sure to select "Network/Program Related" and include in your comments that your input and request is about "Welcome to Myrtle Manor".

------------------------------------------

NOTE: I also posted the following -

"Yes, PLEASE: Be nice - "Mind Your Myrtle Manor Manners!" (my quote  ) - and don't trash TLC's other shows when you comment to the network..."

For the most part people are being civil on the TLC facebook page. I've been posting a new times and liking other peoples comments. Great turnout of support for the show I think.

Mike - Have you had Amanda's jams yet?

Yep. By the way, as far as advising to be civil in their posts and other input to the network and its parent corporation (mostly to not make negative remarks in turn about other shows on the network) - the request I've been posting on my fan page is: "Mind your Myrtle Manor MANNERS!"

No, I got tied up with a doctor appointment yesterday and just missed meeting up with her - but I'll see her and am getting some this afternoon instead...

I happen to agree that I think last season of MM seamed to scripter, but I watched all, but two episodes. Once I leaned the PDS came on again at 11pm in our area, I was able to watch both. I would hate to see the show go.

I hope so - it's simply AMAZING how many visitors The Trailerhood gets every day, what all they get to see, and who all they meet!

I'm really restricted as to what I CAN say right now, other than - as has been posted on our various Facebook pages for a while now - things look very positive...

I sure hope so as well. Fingers crossed! This is one thing I am super bummed about, not getting to the trailerhood. I keep tossing that in as a reason we must go!

Understand. I'm amazed that the following is still so strong. Hope it works out for more seasons and that it goes back to more of a season 1 style.

Keep us posted Mike!

I sure will. The best thing to do is keep up with the various Myrtle Manor Facebook pages. I very actively post a lot (and share from the other pages) on my own page (linked below) in order to keep our viewing friends as informed and amused as possible:

I just got back from vacation and of course I had to find myrtle manor while I was down there. On Thursday July 3rd it was raining from Hurricane Arthur so we decided to drive and find it. we actually drove past it cause I was looking for the big sign by the road....we drove through but didnt get to stop because my husband felt weird about being there...lol No cast members were out but it was neat to see.

side note- I seen Taylor in his cadillac at the red light by ripleys believe it or not and you would have thought I had just seen someone super famous lol

July 3rd? Hmmm, let's see - depending on the time of day: Roy and Gina were inside Tangulls Salon, Miss Peggy was in there for a while too. Amanda was at Tangulls earlier in the day, then went to the Merchandise Trailer for a while. Marvin was sleeping most of the day (worked all night) and I don't remember what Anne was doing. Bandit was running all over the place trying to catch up on a few projects he's working on. Brock was working at Ocean Annie's. Kim was working. Stephania was (I believe) resting up from some traveling. Various members of the Patrick family (Cecil, Becky, Alyson, Jeana With a J, etc) were back and forth between the Merchandise Trailer, office, and elsewhere taking care of regular business.

Basically, if you visit again, stop by the Merchandise Trailer and Tangulls Salon. There are usually cast members there - and they and/or others can usually tell you the status of the rest of the cast...

Mike,

Can you give some directions. I have a family member that is dying to visit. So if we were at BATB how would we get there?

Deanna, Take Robert Grissom PKWY (It's the road behind BATB) south toward the airport. Right before you get to the backside of Coastal Grand Mall, take a left at the red light to Pine Island Road, Go to the end of Pine Island and take a right on HWY 15. Myrtle Manor is only a short distance from there on the right side of the road of HWY 15. When you see 17 Ave. S on the left side of the road you need to start looking on the right for the sign. It's not far at all from that point. I don't think it's actually going to say Myrtle Manor, I think it has the owner's last name on the sign.

I had been within 1/4 of a mile of Myrtle Manor five or six times a trip for the last four or five years and didn't even know it. It's really close to a shortcut we take to BATB every year.
