I will do a catch up on my trip report when I catch my breath. For now I have posted a couple of pictures showing our arrival home.

Thanks, Cathy. Our time at the beach was wonderful. Hard to believe we spent the day on the beach on Monday and today, only two days later, we are back to reality. Lol. Oh well Spring is around the corner.

I think spring has finally arrived too. Almost all the snow has melted here, unlike Christine's pictures show but she does live further north than me, and tomorrow I'm switching off my winter tires and putting the summers on. :nanner:

That must have been quite a shock to see all that snow piled up there. Sand between your toes Monday and snow between them today

Re: that 2nd photo where Dave is standing in front of that dirty mound of snow. It that all snow or is there something under it...like a car? If it is all snow, how long will it take it to melt?

Wow!! the snow!! I think we are finally over ours here too! It made it to 81 the last I looked. Worked outside helping daughter clean a storage building at work.. hope to finish that tomorrow!! and plans to work outside at home this weekend. We have a lot to do as we have discovered that our pool (above ground of many years) is not gonna make it this summer!! But the plan for this weekend is the new fence and staining it!! .. Hope you get rid of your snow soon!! Anxious to read the trip report!!

Patrish, that is all snow. It is high there because it was blown off the driveway. I will get up to the mall and take a picture there. The snow is as high as my house in a huge pile. They plow it to one central spot. It is incredible how high it gets. It is amazing with some mild temperatures, rain and wind it will hopefully be gone soon but the huge piles at the shopping malls won't be gone until some time in May, unless they haul it away which they sometimes do to prevent flooding.

Patrish, this one is for you! Lol. The picture is of Dave up at the strip mall downtown. He looks so funny with his dark tan against the huge snow bank.

And yes, that is all snow! I took this yesterday, April 4th. This should explain why we love Myrtle Beach in the winter.

Our mall (Square One) had many that high too. It's all been trucked away and is all gone. Our little mall across the street is now using an front loader to break up the piles and spread it over the unused parking lot to melt faster. Should all be gone by next weekend.

That pile behing Dave looks like the iceburg that hit the titanic

Wow...what a load of snow! I guess you get used to it, but I'm sure you're happy to know you'll be coming back to MB!
