Give me the cold any day. Last week when it was -10 and -35 below with windchill in Iowa my room was 28 degrees I just crawled into bed and covered up it was great. Give me cold over 100 degrees any day

I agree! I can put enough clothes on so that I am not cold, but there is only so much you can do to try to cool off.

I don't mind 80-90 degrees the week we are at the beach though.

This is the winter that will never end. Another arctic cold snap and temps are dropping. Wind chill of -15F (-26C) today. A snow squall blew through Toronto today as well. 2 news videos caught the squall.

It's 8 degrees today. Ice storm heading our way Sunday nite with more snow. I did manage to get my miata out of the garage twice in the last week. We are both in our 70's and can't get out in the stuff like we could once do. I end up home bound day after day. We've already been without water. Now we have the possibility of losing our power if we get that ice. It's been teens and lower day after day after day. I know some of the others on the board that live in the states around Ohio feel pretty much the same way. And there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Somebody go find that groundhog!!

I think the high is 1 degree for tomorrow........ This is the worst winter ever. I can actually say that as I read something earlier today that said it's the coldest winter in about 30 years I think... Oh boy. Spring cannot come soon enough!

Hope everyone is staying safe! I know it's cold everywhere this year. I don't know how much more staying inside I can take. The kids can't even play outside!

I really don't understand the people that say they would rather it be 20 degrees outside instead of 90. You obviously would not be spending much time outdoors (unless you work in it) in 20 degree cold, so why do you feel it necessary to be outside in 90 degree heat if it is uncomfortable. Any time spent indoors is going to be in a controlled temperature either way. At least on a hot and humid day, you can at least enjoy the outdoors in the morning or evening hours. I get tired of being cooped up in the house all winter, and would trade my cold winter days for 90 degrees anytime.

Supposed to get ice, snow, sleet, rain, and who knows what else in Kentucky tomorrow. Will it ever end? I'm so ready for my shorts and flip flops.

So frustrated with this cold weather!! This feels like the longest winter ever. It's March 3rd and it's only 14 degrees today. Blah!!!

Hit 60 degrees here in upstate NY yesterday. :sunny:

Expected to get 12 - 18 inches of snow today.

Supposed to be single digit temps tomorrow.

Then back into the 40's on Friday.

Welcome to March in upstate NY! :tongue3:

Bottom line? We leave 4 weeks from tomorrow for Myrtle Beach! :hello:

Weather is still crazy here also, yesterday my gauge hit 80 :)

It is raining out now and 57, they say it will rise to 77, then the high for tomorrow will be 54. 63 Fri and 67 Sat, thank goodness the t-storms are not expected until Sunday, because lots of things taking place Saturday.

If anyone is around, I'll be in NMB Saturday, I'll be driving our Ms. Sav R Cats in the parade that morning, then helping the organization raise money at the street festival.

Crazy weather? lol It's 13 degrees here in Michigan...but that's not that bad part -- it's complete whiteout conditions here, blizzarding! I have my 2nd afternoon off early from work in 15 years, because it was so bad today.

They are now saying it may not get out of the 40's for tomorrow.

And I do feel for you folks, living this winter with all this cold and white stuff.

There is a shift in weather patterns and it is going to continue and only get colder for longer periods of time, I'm not saying every year from here on out, but the difference is going to be long term and over time.

Bought a new bike last week (bicycle that is.) Monday was 50 and it's maiden voyage. Yesterday I was wishing I went with shorts. Today the garbage can blew over at the end of the driveway. I really didn't want to go out there to pick it up. The wind was fierce. All you folks over there just to the west of me talking about blizzard conditions concern me, LOL.

Hopefully it is just this one day. Suppose to jump back on Friday. I plan on another ride on Friday and perhaps a nice ride with the kids up on the Rails to Trails on Saturday.
