2014 is off to a cold start.
It's -9F and feels like -29F here today.

Who's the coldest?

We have a high of 27 today. Our steep road was covered with ice. We risked it anywaysto get to work today. Not my favorite time of the year for sure. It gets better. The low next Tues without windchill is suppose to be 4 degrees. If this is a nightmare please wake me up.

Now calling for 15-20cm (6-8") on Sunday into Monday.
I think this will be remembered as the longest winter. It just started and I want it to end already.
I must be getting old

Here in northern Ohio, we had blizzard conditions and picked up about 8" of snow. This Sunday, they're calling for an additional 8-12" with actual temperatures reaching -15F. Wind chill is expected to be as low as -44F. I say bring it on. It makes me appreciate the sultry summer nights so much more!

I'm tracking the temps Patrish. We're considering NOT coming down in Sept or Oct this year  and coming down for the whole month of January 2015.

A temperature roller coaster here in Upstate NY.

It's -2 right now.

Will be 37 (above freezing!) tomorrow.

Back to 5 degrees on Tuesday.

9 degrees in Ohio this morning. That's warmer than yesterday. We had 4 degrees then. Suppose to have 40 today but we aren't going to get excited. There's some nasty stuff lurking out there.

Thanks for the pics guys. It is beautiful, however I am sure it is a hassle. If we got that much snow in Tennessee we wouldn't be able to travel for months

To get 3-4 inches tomorrow again, already have about 5 inches, and to be -10 this week, some days. I would rather have snow now anyhow, otherwise it is just all muddy outside when its cold. Warmer today, 38.
