I have been reading all the trip reports and meet up reports and I am really missing Myrtle Beach. Most of you know that my Dad passed away in May. It has been a rough summer for me dealing with the loss. My Mom has a sister that lives in South Florida on the Gulf side that my Dad would always take her to see a couple times a year. So..for our vacation we are taking her down there. They have some beautiful beaches near where they live. We will be going to Siesta Key and Sanibel Island. We will also get to go deep sea fishing on my cousins boat.
We have been to MB every year for a long time and it doesn't seem right that we aren't coming this year. Thankfully I can get on the message board and visit this way. Miss you all.

I'm sorry for your loss. And it is so sweet you're taking your mother to visit!

I would love to hear more about Sanibel Island -- we're planning a vacation of late Sept/early Oct and that is one place I'm looking into right now.

Jeff, again I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. Myrtle Beach will be there waiting for you when you return. In the meantime enjoy the special moments with your mom and your family. Siesta Key is AMAZING I heard!!

We will miss seeing you in MB, Jeff! We were in FL last Feb. and enjoyed some beautiful beaches, esp. Siesta Key. There's a day cruise out of Naples (I think the name is Naples Princess Cruise.) It is a lot of fun if you're down that way.

Have fun, but come back to MB next year! Again, so sorry about your Dad.

Jeff, so sorry to hear about your dad. I realize the last few years have been stressful for you and your family. I met you a number of years ago when you were working the Longhorn in Sevierville. Myrtle Beach will always be there. Sounds like a good year to spend time with your Mom and family in FL. Hope you have a great vacation.

Jeff, while I know you will miss Myrtle Beach, cherish this time with your mom & family. Myrtle Beach will be waiting for your return. Again, so sorry for the loss of your Dad.
