I noticed on here and from when we are in Myrtle Beach there are a lot of people from New York, that's where my sister comes down from. I come down from Iowa, and it's a long drive, is there anyone that goes down to Myrtle Beach from further away?

Port Elgin, Ontario. A long drive but well worth it.

Ontario, my sister says a lot of people from Ontario go down to Plattsburgh, NY then fly down to Myrtle Beach.

I guess it's Quebec instead of Ontario

Iowa...wow...I thought my drive from Akron, MI was bad! It takes us 2 days - about 17 hours total.

Northern West Virginia here, about an hour south of Pittsburgh, PA. We can make it to Myrtle Beach in a little over 9 hours. Most of the people up here in the North drive 5 hours to Ocean City, Maryland. But we prefer Myrtle Beach and think 9 hours is an easy drive.

Come from Western MD and it takes us about 10 hours to get there.

We also live about 4 hours from Ocean City, MD but i'd never vacation there. I go there for a weekend to get my dose of the beach but I always come to MB for the week.

Hagerstown, Maryland. From door to door including stops, it's about 10 hours.

Annapolis, MD..... probably a quarter the distance of Iowa !

Quickest we've made MB is 7 hrs with no traffic and perhaps a little excess speed :nanner:

Pigeon Forge, TN which is actually closer than Dayton but it still takes us 7 1/2 to 8 hours. Why?, because we are old!!

near Cleveland, Ohio. I think it's about 11 1/2, 12 straight through, with stops. It's been awhile since we've done the whole drive, usually stopping other places. I think we'll be driving straight home this year though
