I, on occasion, log on to earthcam.com and watch the waves roll in near the boardwalk. It's calming to me in the mornings and the kid enjoys it with me at times. This morning, I noticed something I've never seen before. Of all the times I've watched, I've never seen the flags not moving in the wind. Beautiful morning there and no wind blowing. Very odd.

PS: Ever step in front of the camera and wave to people logged on back home while you talk to them on your cell phone???? Kinda cool!!!

I saw the flag just hanging last night around 10. Very calming listening to the waves.
Yes, I've stood there talking on the phone to my son back home in Toronto.
Very cool. If you check their archives, 24 hrs, you can find yourself and save a screenshot and have a picture too.
Now thats cool :nanner:

Just a reminder that I have this link as well as all other area cams here:

http://www.funbeaches.com/beach_cams-new.html

Please, please, if you know of any new cams not listed, or not working, send me an email or a PM and let me know.

I do my best to keep that page current, but the job gets frustrating sometimes. Right now, it looks like all the cams for the Oceana Resorts are down. I sent them an e-mail, asking if they will be working again soon, but have not received a reply.

Thanks. As you were. :clown:

P.S The flag on our front porch is turning gently just a tad. Not much wind at all and it's a beautiful morning in MB

I'll have to remember that when we're there, the kids would get a kick out of it.

I was waving to my in-laws while I texted them sitting at the Dayton House pool. It's not the clearest image, but they saw me since I had a bright yellow shirt on and was the only one wearing a shirt.

Love the earthcam showing the boardwalk and yes I have made faces at it while I was in front of it.

Can't figure out why the earthcam displays in black and white at times. It's a mystery to me.

The volume on the earthcam seems to be malfunctioning for the last couple of weeks. I can't listen to the waves anymore.

Our neighbors are at Sea Watch right now and they are going to go wave at us this evening and call us at the same time so we can know for sure when they'll be there!!
