Made a trip on i-75 yesterday and saw a bunch of cargo carriers on top of vehicles. Although the weather is not cooperating it was nice to see people heading to vacation destinations. Just one more sign that warm weather should be close. Summer time is almost here. :nanner:

Everybody is anxious for warmer weather! Last year March hit record high temps. This year I think we might have hit a low. Tomorrow and Mon. should get up to 70...but cloudy. Then it gets cold again. I know "cold" is relative. But a high of 56 on Wed. and 58 on Thurs. is practically unheard of here at the beginning of April.

Maybe some of those cargo-topped cars were heading to MB for Easter Weekend. There are people EVERYWHERE, and the roads full of cars. I went to Wal-Mart today. Big mistake! I should have known when I had to park in the outer limits, but just like everyone else I had to shop for Easter the day before!

My brother traveled to Florida this week (sorry warmer weather) and said traffic was really bad. He went down the coast and was thinking about stopping in Charleston on the way back, but the forecast was just in the 60's , so he decided to spend the week farther south. Weather is suppose to break this week, so hopefully the cold weather is behind us and some new trip reports will be posted. Less than 85 days until MB and :sunny:

Daughter Ashley & her husband Eric are in Surfside for Easter weekend...She called and said it is chilly but they still have been able to walk on the beach and enjoy the restaurants and time away from work...As Ashley said to me...it is better than Ohio!

Since she's with her husband, at least she won't have to worry about that love sick cow at Chick-fil-A following her around, suggesting menu items....and whateever else he might have had in mind!

so funny Patrish...we laugh about that picture all the time...they are back home now...it was a quick get away...They ate at Carolina Roadhouse, River City Cafe(Surfside) and of course, Sofia's in Surfside for ice cream...Ashley said that was the REAL reason she wanted to go...:) loves her ice cream...:)...loved it all despite cool temps...came upon the awful wreck on I-77 on the way home near the NC/VA border...she called me and said it was the most awful thing she had ever seen...the road was not closed yet...of course I worried then until they got home...but they made it safely...but we were all praying for those involved...

I am eagerly awaiting our trip in August... :sunny:
