Don't look now, folks, but I think spring has FINALLY sprung in MOST areas of the country; Myrtle Beach included. It's exciting to note that even the surf temperature has warmed 6 degrees in the last two days alone!! It won't be long now. Cheers!!!!

Indeed, finally! I wore shorts today.... outside!!!! I didn't have frost on my windshield this morning leaving for work either. How awesome is that?

Okay, now I have really had it. Today they are calling for freezing rain in our area and they have issued a winter storm watch for Thursday. Oh how I wish we were in the sunny south! "Carolina on my mind."

We will be in MB in 17 days... I can noooooooot wait.. Our snow finally melted and then over night we got 2-3 inches of snow and are in for another 10-14 inches through tomorrow.. Isn't it April??!! This is ridiculous! Maybe we are making up for the 80 degree weather in March last year. good thing vacation is early this year because I can't stand it anymore!

No complaints here......Last Thursday I was still wearing long johns because of 20 degree mornings.
By Monday I was wearing shorts to work. Mid 50's at 6 am and mid 70's-80's by afternoon. Gotta love it.
Tempted a few times to turn on AC but fresh air was nice. Windows down is something new...... Fired up the truck Tuesday morning. Didn't sound right.....Pass side window still down from Monday.....Glad it didn't rain..

We went from 40s and a frigid breeze to 90 and humid within about 2 days.... what happened to spring ? The Cherry trees in our neighborhood went from buds to full bloom in about 24 hrs.

Ok... rainy and 50s today.... early Spring is here :BandHead:

That's what we have today in Montreal. Snow, sleet, hail! According to the weather channel, that type of weather will last until next Tuesday. Ugh!

Luckily for us, we are flying to Myrtle Beach Sunday of next week! Yay! :sunny: :tongue3:

I'm happy dealing with 50's and even the rain (wind gust hit 90 mph on Wednesday as a storm rolled in. We lost just a half dead cherry tree.) This morning it was pouring down rain, I said to Wifey, the rain stinks, but sure is better than 20° all through March.

We had 3-4 days that was above freezing since the first of the year until this week. I say, bring on the April showers and 50°!

My septic doesn't like the rain though.... A whole new set of problems due to weather now I guess. By the end of April, I'll be complaining about rain just as we were complaining about the cold. Work all May getting the pool and garden ready just in time to come home from Myrtle Beach early June and get sick of the humidity even with mid 80° temps. It's just never ending, we don't have pleasant springs any more. Cold, then rain for a breif time, then hot, humid, and miserable.
