Thanks Mike! I am going to check it out on Sunday. I missed the first episode, but it re-airs earlier on Sunday so I will be good. I do watch some "reality" tv, so who knows I might enjoy it. I have to balance out my tv viewing habits somehow. My brain can't work so hard all the time like it does with The Good Wife and Person of Interest.

Last night Frank and I finally had some free time at the same time. We sat down with the DVR to watch the first episode. We got to the first commercial break. I looked at him and said, "Do we need to watch more?" He said no, so I deleted the rest of the show, the second show, and changed my DVR settings to not record any more of them. What a waste of our time!

I guess there is a market for these types of shows or there wouldn't be so many of them, but I have enough drama in my life without watching other people's.

Dawne,

I did the same thing. I have to confess I am a reality show junky, but this show is terrible.

I watched the entire episode. This show does not have one single thing going for it. At least with Honey BooBoo, you can tell that they are a loving family. This show I am just not sure who thought this would be interesting or entertaining to watch.

If you see 2 girls selling hotdogs in Myrtle Beach, run don't walk away.

That is what I learned in episode 2.

No way will this show see a Season 2. Pawn Star reruns do better in the ratings.

And actually, only a small portion of their "hot dog selling" scenes were filmed on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. When they're just sitting there, or in just a few scenes, some walking - those were filmed on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. The scenes of them actively "hawking the hot dogs" and interchanges of dialogue were mostly filmed at the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk and a bit of it at the Little River Waterfront - but presented to give the impression that they were the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.

Mike,
You seem to know quiet a bit about the inside scoop of the show. Just how involved are you ?????

I'm thinking "Mike" is really Marvin. Perhaps Gus? Jared (Is this motorcycle guy?)? Heck maybe he is owner Cecil. :toofless:

That's the way I felt too. I watched just a few minutes, and just could not stand it. :BandHead:

It is sad, actually. I love Myrtle Beach and the people of Myrtle Beach, and never encountered anybody
like those people.
