Happy New Year, all ye faithful! Thanks for being here and keeping the board going. :love1:

The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day."

It is way too cold everywhere! We've been setting new lows every day, and we hate this. Right now (9 PM) it is 37 degrees, and SNOW is predicted for tomorrow. I haven;t been outside n 2 days,

Happy New Year everyone! I’m so over these single digit temps in KY. Yes I can handle 30 ish some but this is awful. I think I’d rather have the snow than these frigid temps. Ok my fuss on the weather. Hope everyone is well and avoiding the flu. It hit all of us and just now getting somewhat better. Let the countdown to spring begin lol

....Let the countdown to spring begin....

AMEN to that! 9:10 PM and 28 degrees! And let's not forget the ice. Wally went outside tonight in all this mess to destroy the icicles that were covering the bird feeder ledge.

Good to see you back on the board. Hope everything is okay. Hadn't heard from you since the "upcoming trip report" in September. Hope you enjoyed that trip.

Once Christmas is over we start talking vacation at our house. The pre-trip for the pre-trip kind of kicks off then. Can't wait to get down in late June.

Myrtle Beach and ice just doesn't sound right. Hopefully some warmer days ahead. The snowbirds are probably arriving and we sure don't want snow and cold to ruin their stay.

Well this snowbird has arrived. Is it cold? Yes. Is it worse than what I left in the rear view mirror? Not even close. Our problem up in the lee of Lake Huron is the wind and visibility, it might be cold here but we can get out. We have been out to eat, to the movies and to the mall. Except for those icy days then it was Netflix. Lol. All good.
