Carolina Seafood & Steak (9911 N. Kings Hwy.) This location used to be Cagney’s Old Place. Later it was sold and became Fiesta ‘Something’ It has now morphed into Carolina Seafood & Steak.

They offer an Early Bird menu for $9.95 from 4 PM to 6 PM. We just happened to be in this area a few days ago and decided to drop in and give it a try.

The menu:

We each enjoyed a croissant to start:

I ordered the Shrimp and Grits which consisted of 5 shrimp and more grits than anyone could possibly eat. The shrimp were grilled to perfection and delicious.

Wally ordered the Mahi-Maihi and said it was very good. He paid the extra $1.50 for the loaded baked potato.

We like Early Bird specials and would go back to this one. The portions are smaller, but the older we get the less we need to eat. And the price was right.

Hmmm.... almost seems like copyright infringement, especially with croissants ! Don't tell me they were drizzled in honey

Those prices look great ! (as do the pics)

Thanks for posting !

We can do this the next time you're here. I'll even bring some honey from home to drizzle on the croissants! :clown:
