We ate at Milardo's on Friday. We wanted to go somewhere close as it was our last day. We just happened upon this place. It was REALLY good...There is a large menu...pizza, calzones, stromboli, sandwiches, and many other items. We started out with Garlic knots...Oh my...they were soooo good we could have made a meal on those...next we had the house salad...it was fresh and a nice size...Kathy then had a slice of scicilian pizza with 3 toppings...I had a cheesesteak stromboli...yummy and HUGE...I took half home...we took half the garlic knots home , too! Lots of TV's if you are watching a sporting event...there were many families there...we really liked this place...it was a casual type place...the wait staff was attentive...the food was great...we each paid about 20.00...not including tip...It is located in Garden City...right off of 17...turn at the light where you see TGI Fridays...near the Inlet Mall...I can not wait to take my husband there next vacation...I know he will enjoy it.

Leave it to our message board members to post restaurants/reviews I've never heard of! Sounds like a good choice! Thanks for taking the time to write a review!

And the owner being from the Boston area is a NE fan :)

It is a large place with 3 dining areas, 1 of which is outside on the roof.

It was such a spur of the moment choice! We just took off driving south from Surfside...we wanted to find someplace new...I am still thinking about those garlic knots...I try to watch carbs when eating...I often get sandwiches and only eat the stuff inside...but the garlic knots were so worth the carbs... :sunny:

Jo, it's how I feel many times at night about sweets and milk, so worth it.
