2Nd Ave Pier is another one of those places that just draws you in. This was our first time to visit and it is a beautiful place.

I loved the atmosphere with the ocean visible while you eat. We decided to eat in the dining room verses the bar on the 3rd floor. Next year we plan to give the bar area a try. The bar area would be a great place to sit back and enjoy friends. I loved all the lounge furniture. Wish I had taken pic.

The food at 2nd Ave Pier was not the best meal that we had all week, but it was not bad either. Of course it was the end of the week and truthfully that is a bad time to give an honest review. We started out with the Lowcountry eggrolls which I didn’t think I would like. Very good and different if I do say so myself. They were stuffed chicken, country ham, cheddar grits and collard greens.

Ryan ordered the fried seafood platter which he liked

Doug ordered the shrimp and grits. He was not impressed, but I thought it was very tasty.

I was in a burger mood so that is what I had. It was average.

Leanna had the BBQ chicken breast with garlic mashed potato’s. It to was average.

Our service at the pier was good and we enjoy the evening. We give the 2nd Ave pier a B. We would return for another try. I would especially like to try their breakfast.

I hope you know how much we appreciate your reviews, especially with the pictures! Last year, our family visited one of the restaurants that you reviewed based solely on your review and pictures. Thanks!

A great report and I loved all the pictures. I also always enjoy reading the restaurant reviews and finding new places to try. Thanks for all the time you took doing this. It is always fun to tag along.

Scott,

That is kinda scary  I know we all have different taste and expectations. I tried very hard to take my entire families opinion into view in these reports. So at least they are not all my own opinion
