Two years ago we ate at Joe’s Crab Shack and really enjoyed our meal. We decided to give it another try and we were pleased once again. The only complaint we had this year was we did call ahead seating for 5:00 and at 6:45 we were still waiting to be seated. It was a zoo and it was obvious the kids in charge did not have a clue what they were doing.

My mom and I shared the coconut shrimp and I was blown away. Very good! Doug ate the shrimp platter and he also enjoyed his meal. We had a very sweet foreign girl as our waitress and she was just a doll. She did a great job and what a joy to see a smiling face while you eat. We give Joe’s Crab Shack a B only because of the disorganization of the hostess stand. The food was some of the best we ate all week.

For some reason I didn’t take pics. I don’t know what was up with that.

Deanna, thanks for the review of Joe's Crab Shack. We have been to the one in Myrtle Beach a number of times off season and have always enjoyed it. Just a note, I know you are a frequent visitor to the Pigeon Forge area. They opened a Joe's Crab Shack near the Five Oaks area about two months ago. It has been very busy also. Not the same as eating at the beach but not bad in a pinch. Gives me a temporary beach fix. Food and service has been good the few times we have been in there.

Judy,

Thanks for the info. I will be putting that on our list of places to eat in November. Yum

I am glad to hear Joe's Crab Shack was good this year...we ate Terry and I ate there last year and were really pleased with our meals and the service...we do not have Joe's near us at home we enjoyed going there...this may be our new " 1st" night meal.

We love Joe's crab shack. Especially the one in myrtle beach. There is one in columbus ohio which is only 1 1/2 hr drive from us, and we go to Columbus once a month for a business meeting. We don't care for the one in columbus. We love the MB one. .. they work with you if you have a seafood allery, which helps us, since we love it, but our dil is allergic to seafood. I recommend highly, the mussels diabilo.. delicious!
