Ok...... Think I'll have to move our MB trip up about 6 months just so I can try this

The Shuckers at 300 North Kings Hwy has very good burgers (and great homemade fries). The ambiance is a bit biker/laid-back, but we stop there every trip for their burgers/wings/oysters during happy hour.

We went to River City in Surfside for lunch when our daughters arrived on Sunday. The food was good but we especially liked the location. We ate outside on the porch (with the birds). I think River City/Surfside is going to be a new first-day tradition for us.

MYRTLE BEACH — Myrtle Beach dentist Wade Nichols has taken ownership of the Bovine’s and Divine Fish House restaurants in Murrells Inlet as part of a settlement agreement reached in a lawsuit Nichols filed against Divine Dining Group owner Jack Divine IV, according to Divine’s lawyer and Georgetown County property records.

Nichols agreed to pay off the mortgages on the two restaurants in exchange for their ownership, according to Columbia lawyer Rick Mendoza, who represented Divine in the breach of contract lawsuit. Mendoza declined to say Tuesday how much was owed on the restaurants, but during a court hearing earlier this year he said the mortgages total about $4.8 million.

That is about the same amount of money Nichols paid for the two restaurants, according to the Georgetown County Register of Deeds.
Property deeds filed on Friday show Tortola Holdings LLC, a corporation solely owned by Divine, sold Bovine’s to Salt Creek Holdings LLC for $1.8 million. Tortola sold Divine Fish House to BytheC Holdings LLC for $3.2 million. Nichols’ wife, Paula, is the registered agent for both of the buyer corporations, according to state records.

As part of the sale, Mendoza said Nichols has agreed to cancel an $8.6 million judgment he obtained last year against Divine.

We are looking for a new first day tradition. Will probably pick something closer to BATB though. We are looking for a time killer while waiting for our room to become available. Had done Margaritaville in the past, but the quality/price issue is just not cutting it. River City on the beach would be a good first meal to start out the week and we will have to consider it as an option, just don't know what we would do to kill a couple of hours after we got finished eating.
