This is another fun place we like to eat, especially for the ambience! We ate lunch there this time. Eddie had the catfish finger appetizer that was quite large and came with sweet potato fries. I just had a cup of gumbo, since there is no place even close up here to get some. It was good, but by far not the best I've had. Phyllis got the Jambalaya which tasted good, but different! Oh, and yes I did have a bloody mary :drinkin:

Has anyone done the 'Gospel Brunch'???? I'd love to hear about it if you did.

Thanks Lisa... My mom would just love to hear some 'Good Ol' Southern Gospel'... and I saw where they advertised their Gospel Brunch. We might had to give it a try!

I've been to the Blues Sunday Brunch twice but not in the last 2 years. They have a very nice buffet and the music was terrific. We all had a GREAT time. Mary Ellen

During the off-season, House of Blues often runs a newspaper coupon for their prime rib dinner...buy one, get one for a penny. Last winter we thought we'd save some money and have a nice dinner. If you are tempted by the coupon, don't bother. The beef was almost gray in color, tasteless, and swimming in fat.
