Myrtle Beach Message Board

This past week we joined friends of ours (locals) and ate here. It is located next door to the Library Restaurant. I had chicken with brown rice and brocoli and peanut sauce and enjoyed it very much. Won Ton soup was also good. Bill for 7 of us was around $112. You can BYOB.
Not anything fancy but the locals we ate with rated it better than Black Thai Restaurant.Will return.

Sorry Tony, gotta disagree w/ you on this one: my faves are as follows (and for the record, Thai cooking is a hobby of mine so I do have a taste for the food and spices):

1. Thai Season - reasonably priced and very classy, food is always fresh and made to order. Been customers for over 2 years and never a disappointing meal. Service is awesome, staff eager to accommodate.
2. Black Thai - classy, upscale, fresh - beautiful bar and elegant restaurant
3. Thai Cuisine - good authentic food, no liquor available, simplistic atmosphere.

The one on the horizon that we haven't gotten to try "yet": The Blue Elephant.

Where is Thai Season.

North Myrtle Beach.

Heading north on 17, it's located on the left hand side, in a small strip mall just beyond Mexico Lindo but before Dick's Pawn Shop. There is a small beach store next it and a bar called Mike and Pats. It doesn't look like much from the outside but is very classy inside. The Thai beer, Singha is wonderful.

Our favorites:
Appetizers: Crab Rangoon and Spring Rolls.
Dinner: All of the Curry dishes (favorite is the Panang), Phad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Spicy Basil. You can add your choice of Chicken, Beef, Pork, or Shrimp.
Dessert: Never have room!
