I'm sorry though, the only place I get steak down in MBSC is the Outback Steakhouse.

I would say if reasonable is what you're looking for I would suggest Logan's Roadhouse. There are several locations in the MB area. They have all different prices. The steaks are not gourmet but for what you are asking this would probably be fine. Check out the menu online http://www.logansroadhouse.com/Default.aspx

Enjoy your trip!

Here are 3 suggestions:

Salt Creek Cafe in Murrells Inlet. Fairly priced, good quality food and service:
http://www.saltwatercreekcafe.com/

Outback Steakhouse, Murrells Inlet:
http://www.outback.com/restaurant/locat ... index.aspx

Texas Roadhouse in Murrells Inlet:
http://www.texasroadhouse.com/restauran ... rtle-beach

We buy filet mignon at Costo when we want a good steak at home. Last week we bought a package of 4 nice size filets at Costco and I think the package price was $35. (Sorry, I did not keep the receipt.) But grilling them yourselves might not be an option, depending on where you are staying or because it's more fun to eat out when you're on vacation.

We've had good steaks at Thorny's and they weren't too pricey. Good potato soup, too!

Does Prime Rib count as steak ? Carolina Roadhouse for sure..... Thorny's also had good Rib and very family friendly. Neither are "cheap", but reasonable.

A lot of people love Angelo's for steak and he did sell over 80,000 of them last year.
I like Big Daddy's Roadhouse, just down the street form Angelo's. Driftwood's on Hwy 707 does a good job also.

As for Outback in the Inlet I have never had a good steak at this place, I called Corp one time it was so bad, even the 2nd one that replaced the first was not good. Tried it again and same thing, now the chicken, ribs and burgers are good there.

You an usually find a discount by doing a search online.

Type in : Rossi's myrtle beach discount coupon
The above is an example, yet Rossi's does put out a good steak

We have always been pleased with the steaks we have gotten at the Texas Roadhouse in Murrells Inlet. We have been there many many times over the years. Of course we usually go for the earlybird special before 5:30pm and the current price is $8.99 I believe. We get a 6 oz sirloin which includes a salad and a side. Never been disappointed. Now the Texas Roadhouses here in our area, Southeast TN, do not come close to the steaks we have had in Murrells Inlet/Garden City. We have tried Angelo's for special occasions and have not been blown away by the quality for the price. I know it is a local favorite but maybe we caught it on bad nights. We do not mind occasionally paying $25. for a good steak dinner if the quality was outstanding. For us to pay much more than that would be rare.

I've been to the Outback Steakhouse in Murrells Inlet twice. Great steaks. Enjoyed both visits. Look forward to going back there again.

I agree with Gary about Big Daddy's having a good steak. If you are considering going there make sure you buy a coupon on restaurant.com. Make sure to search for promo codes for that site. Steaks are around $20, but if you buy a coupon (which does have a minimum purchase requirement at the restaurant), then you will probably get them for under $15.

Thorny's makes a good steak at a reasonable price. http://www.thornys.com/ They've also got a very good early bird special (before 5:30 pm), and also an 80 oz steak challenge. I'd like to see somebody try that! Good kids menu, and a good atmosphere.

Usually we do steak at home but occasionally I get one at carrabas in Murrells inlet that is very tasty and around that price. Capt Dave's dockside does a fabulous steak but it is pricey.
