We decided to try them for the first time. We arrived at 6 PM on a Friday and was seated right away. Decore was upscale mid-western. Service was prompt, our waiter was right on top of things. My wife ordered the Filet (8oz). It was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic, I had to try it for myself  . I got the surf and turf, it was a 6 oz sirloin with 6 large grilled shrimp. The taste was amazing, cooked perfectly and was very tender. Both came with potato of choice, salad and hot bread. By far the best meal we have had in Myrtle Beach in quite some time. I would suggest as the season goes futher along, utilizing reservations may be a good idea. We rated it 5 stars out of 5.

I ate at a KC Steakhouse in MB about 15 years ago... It was on 17 bus around 10th street south.... It was the best steak I ever had in my life! Is this the same place?

Jeff, I think this Kansas City Steak just opened last year????? We ate there last summer and our son still says it was his best steak for the week. Doug & I were not as impressed. It was by no means a bad meal just not our favorite. Of course it was the end of the week so our tummies were kinda full

Deanna,

You are right, this just opened in the spring of last year. I am not familiar with the one from 15 years ago, however it is very near the same location. There are several new restaraunts there, one is a Japeneese steakhouse and a burger place, all in the same building. They are segragated so you have multiple entrances, this building is rather large.

Thanks for your responses!

Looks like I may have to see what's all new in that area!

Enjoy! Summer is almost here!

Thanks for the review Scott. It sounds like a great place to try next year! Christine.

Christine,

I would suggest that you go early in your trip, this will be a place that you will want to go more than once. I will honestly say that we were more than pleased with the entire meal.
