Ahh.That's too bad. So far we have always had great pizza on our trips. We normally order from the Barefoot location.

Wow - the new location sounds impressive.... an upscale Chuck E Cheese which may be fun for the adults too....

""Happy hour is 4-7 p.m. daily with $2 pints...and also live music from a 2-man combo that can play anything.""

Sorry to hear about the greasy pizza, I would send the management an email. While I don't personally think UCP is "the best", it has been consistent in our experience. The management needs to know if somebody screwed up....

Barb, I agree with Kirk...let them know! We already have too many pizza places guaranteed to serve greasy pizza. UCP is a local operation and should not be added to that list. I'm really sorry to hear about your experience.

I'll do that. It was so out of the ordinary for this place..,. I've ordered pizza from them for years.

Jeff,
I am not great with directions but it is located on Arrowhead Road in the Kroger Shopping Center. I think it is called the Galleria Shopping Center. This is the shopping center where Baron's is located. The pizza location use to be a very large gourmet food store/restaurant. What was it called? That's what happens when you get old!!

Parrothead, stop in the looby of your hotel and pick up a Monster Coupon book, it has a $2 off any large 3 or more topping pizza.

Hope y'all are having fun

And before Southern Market wasn't it a Chuck E. Cheese?

We were all kinda tired this afternoon so we decided to order pizza in. Of course we all decided on UCP

http://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu35 ... CN2316.jpg

We ordered 4 pizza's and since they are all gone I am pretty sure they were a hit.

http://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu35 ... CN2315.jpg

Big Kahuna (Supreme)
High Sierra (BBQ Chicken)
Mexican
Ultimate Cheese

My favorite was the Mexican and the High Sierra. UCP is not cheap pizza but it was good.

As far as pizza is concerned UCP gets **** from this crew.

MMMM! The High Sierra is my favorite! Have never had a bad pizza from UCP!

"The perfect pizza picky people love"...I love that jingle, it often gets stuck in my head!

Made our first visit to UCP on Saturday night. We went to the one with the arcade, just off restaurant row, on Arrowhead Rd.

The pizza was good, and the atmosphere was fun, but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. We've been to the California Pizza Kitchen in Las Vegas, and it is a TOTALLY different type of place. The California Pizza Kitchen has really eclectic pizzas, baked in a brick oven, and made with really fresh ingredients. I guess I assumed that Ultimate California Pizza was the same. Well, it's not. It's definitely better than a national chain restaurant, but we've had better in Myrtle Beach (Basil's, Dino's, Michael's, etc.).

Would I go again? Yes. Would I make it a priority? No.

Scott

We went out for Dinner at CPK at the Market Common last night. We ordered a Big Kahuna and 2 orders of wings 1 plain 1 garlic Parmesan and jack wings and one order of garlic Parmesan wings for my brother who stayed at the resort. My family shared the big Kahuna while my neice had plain wings and I shared some of the Jack Bread and Garlic Parm wings with my mom to. We did use the $2 off a Large Pizza coupon but still not cheap dinner but very good only one slice was left to take home and my neice took some of her wings home and we took the slice of pizza and other wings for my brother.
