I did a search, but did not find any reviews of Mama Mia Pizzeria. Has anyone been? Their menu looks really good.

Their website says they have three locations: 28th Avenue South at the Tropical Seas, Grissom Parkway at the American Athletic Building, and in the North Strand Marketplace in North Myrtle.

Scott,
I've never been there, but found those reviews on TripAdvisor.

We ordered from Mamma Mia's a few years ago! I liked the pizza and so did my grandson Eddie, but my wife wasn't that impressed! Pizza is one of those food items that vary too much from restaurant to restaurant, and everyone has their own idea of what it should look/taste like! That being said, I would order their pizza again, if the wife let me :whip2:

If someone from NJ or NY recommends a pizza place, I'm all in!

Meh... the only people who think you can't get good pizza outside of New York City are from New York City. The story you posted should have been titled: "America's Top Seven Cities for Pizza, as chosen by those who live in the Northeast and have never ventured out to discover that there is outstanding pizza in the rest of the country."

I've been to NY many times, and have had the "famous" NY pizza at many shops. Frankly, we have better NY-style pizza at 3 local pizzerias in Morgantown, WV than anywhere I had a pie in Manhattan or the Bronx. And I'll add that Basil's in Cherry Grove is as good or better than anything I've had in New York City.

I have no idea if Mama Mia's is any good, but we may give it a try.

I live in NY, but about as far away from the city as you can get :clown: ! I'm more Southern Canada :drinkin: ! As for my taste in pizza, I'm an old fat man, I've never met a pizza that I didn't like :ac17[1]:
