Has anyone tried it since "Impossible"?

I think Gary mentioned that he had been there. Said something about limited menu options since the makeover. Maybe he can give a detailed report.

Are you asking if the food is good or about the remodel?

I have never had a problem with the food, nor have friends that go there, although I have heard of some folks who were not happy.

The menu after the remodel was very limited, but has been added to since, thankfully. They can add to it, they can't delete what Robert did.

The remodel, really opened the place up and made it much brighter and comfortable.

George Jr is a graduate of Johnson & Wales Culinary who runs the kitchen and Sr runs the front of the house, they have been there since 95 or so, so that says something in an area where restaurants come and go on a monthly basis.

We ate there a couple years ago. The food was very good. We will go back some day but for now we choose Pacinos.....

Thanks for the update!

We recorded and watched last night. I couldn't remember the name of the place and the guide on Directv didn't have locations in the info for many of the Restaurant Impossible episodes so we recorded a bunch of them that had Italian in the description.

If you missed it, episode "Father knows Worst" will be aired over and over and over again for the next 10 years like everything else is repeated constantly in today's TV land, so you have plenty of opportunity to catch it.

I thought about Restaurant Impossible and this restaurant today while channel flipping. Guess I didn't do a good job searching for it on the Guide or reading the forum. Wonder how I missed this topic? I was still waiting for the episode to air.

Guess the place closed in early September.
