Located at 4209 North Kings Hway in Myrtle, we found this place by accident and didn’t expect much looking at the outside. Small place inside of a strip mall. However… it is pretty cool inside. White faux-leather seating with chandeliers provided an air of sophistication.

It was not crowded, so we got immediate and friendly attention. Entrees with fresh made pastas include various lasagnas, raviolis, rolled eggplants, etc, range in price from $15 to 20 (including soup or salad). Jan had the Veal Picatta (20) which was made with lemon-infused artichoke hearts, and I had Eggplant Rollatini (18) which had an amazing amount of mozzarella spread over the top and perfectly baked. Both large enough for plenty of leftovers.

The house salads were romaine with walnuts and Gorgonzola along with an oil/balsamic dressing. They also bring a loaf of fresh bread with seasoned oil. For me, this was the biggest hit of the night… the bread was light/fluffy and the oil had a sensational seasoning of red/black peppers, parmesan and some other spice I couldn’t place. Much better oil than similar options at places such as Ramono’s Macaroni grill.

We don’t eat Italian much in Myrtle Beach, so can’t compare to any of the other local favorites, but definitely recommend Toscanos !
