I’m glad to hear you liked it! My parents and I ate there for the first time last year and we really enjoyed it. I’m glad to hear that it’s consistently crowded. That’s how you know you’ve got a good breakfast spot! I didn’t know they’re putting in a location at Barefoot Landing. Thanks for the info!

Looks yummy. Thanks for the heads up on the Barefoot location. Maybe the construction will start and be finished by the time we arrive in December. We will keep an eye out. Loving your report with all the pictures. I know it takes time but adds so much.

Aug. 189, 2918 - Pre-opening of Blueberry’s Grill at Barefoot Landing!

I, along with other members of the media, enjoyed a fantastic meal of our choice today, as the new restaurant prepares to welcome the public tomorrow, Aug. 20th, starting at 7 A.M.

We’ve eaten at their 79th Ave location in the past and knew in advance that we would be happy with their menu and service. We were not disappointed!

That’s the manager, John Kimmer, in the photo with with me.
Thanks LHWH Advertising and PR

Scott & Misti....looks like a great spot for a meet-up. When's your next visit to the beach?

Blueberry’s Grill | 4856 Hwy 17 S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 | https://www.blueberrysnmb.com

We ate here twice on vacation. Once for lunch, another for breakfast.

First visit:
My mom, aunt, and I came here for lunch on a Monday around 12:30pm. The place was packed inside and outside. Despite the crowds, we were seated immediately. Our server and a training server came over to introduce themselves and get our drink orders. Our servers were polite and attentive.

Second visit:
My parents and I ate here for breakfast on a Saturday, a little after 7am. We had the place to ourselves. Our server was the hostess. She was polite. We switched to an owner/manager later on in the meal because the hostess was setting up tables outside. Everyone we encountered was polite and attentive.

We would definitely return. If it’s crowded, be prepared to wait on a table! The restaurant was decorated beautifully. The prices are a bit expensive but the ingredients are fresh and it is in Barefoot Landing, so prices are going to be higher. The only downside were the flies at lunch. Some of the doors were open to get a nice breeze, but that meant the flies charged on in. It was annoying having to swat the flies away while eating. One of them even landed on my aunt’s sandwich right as she was about to take a bite!

Image
BLT sandwich (applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomatoes) with fruit and pickle. My mom and aunt both ordered this. Their sandwiches were good. The bacon was crispy. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. They liked their fruit bowls.

Image
Smoked Turkey & Pesto sandwich (turkey, brie, pine nut basil pesto) with fruit and pickle. My sandwich could have had a bit more turkey. It was mostly piled in the center and there weren’t enough around the edges. The pesto and brie and turkey were a nice combination. The fruit bowls were blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. All the fruit was fresh.

Image
Ham omelette, home fries, biscuit. The ham omelette was great. It had plenty of ham. My dad loved the home fries. The biscuit was fresh and flaky.

Image
2 eggs, home fries, toast. A standard breakfast. My mom enjoyed.

Image
Side of homemade corned beef hash. I didn’t like the taste of this. It tasted odd. My mom tried it and said the same thing. I wouldn’t order this again.

Image
Cheezo Rizo (Portugal chorizo, tomatoes, spinach, cheddar cheese, cilantro) with hollandaise. This is my usual order. It was great. It had plenty of chorizo. The home fries are some of the best I’ve had. They’re so tasty.

I'm drinking coffee and reading this at 8 A.M. The photos are making my mouth water. Guess it's time for breakfast. Unfortunately, my breakfast will look more like yogurt and cereal!
