I was down over the July 4th weekend and a new place had recently opened where an old Mammy's restaurant located at 513 N Ocean Blvd, across the street from the Bayview Resort, called Coco Cabana Island Cantina. They have a pretty good breakfast when we ate there. The inside has been re-modeled and looks awesome. Great place if you are staying in the 2nd Avenue area that you can walk to for breakfast.

Since you are staying in the Cherry Grove area, look for a Plantation Pancake House! We've eaten at several, and always has a great meal! You can always head south to Cracker
Barrel, across from Barefoot Landing! Tar Baby's is also near you, never ate there, but the name sounds interesting  ! House of Blues also serves breakfast!!

Thank you all :notworthy:. We love our breakfast (and seafood!) so we will try a few of them out.

North of where you will be staying, in Little River, there is a small hole in the wall restaurant on the west side of highway 17! I think it's called Matthew's Pancake House now! Don't let the appearance scare, it was a really great place to eat! My wife did not want to stop there, but we did anyway, and she was floored at how good it was! It also seems to have good reviews on Yelp! Just another suggestion :sunny:

Gotta throw Golden Griddle Pancake House into the hat. I think I should be compensated for each mention I give them on this message board. I sure do love that place! They have daily specials and I refuse to eat breakfast anywhere else. Located on Main Street in NMB.
