First time trying Mammy’s after all these years. They had a charge for Nolan to eat, which we didn’t like (he’s 3). Corey go the buffet, he said it was mediocre. I got the #10 (2 pieces of bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, and a waffle) – it was mediocre. The service was also ok. So, all in all, we were a little disappointed with all the hype, but honestly didn’t expect much more either. Probably won’t be back any time soon.

What do you mean by this?

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, but sounds like most of your meals were a success!

He had to be charged for the buffet. I thought most places were free for 3 and under, but Mammy's wasn't. The price for him was not worth it for us. He doesn't eat a ton at 3 so the charge wasn't worth the price.

Yest most were a success for sure. Even the mediocre ones were decent ya know? It's fun that we can say we ate at Mammy's, even if it wasn't our favorite. There are a lot of breakfast places, so we would try a different one next time. We would have always wondered about Mammy's and have talked about it for years, so glad we tried it regardless.

We are loyal customers as you can see by my travel logs. We eat at a few places every year. Sometimes the service isn't as good, or the food was better last time, but we are understanding so still go back. Just didn't feel that way about a couple of places we tried.

We ate breakfast during our trip this month and thought that the food was decent. We were going back to eat dinner one night to discover that they are no longer open for dinner.

I usually eat at Mammy's once per vacation. Last year was downright terrible. I remember vividly the dried out sausage, still half frozen potatoes and the tasteless fresh fruit for $11 not including tip. The service folks were great as always but the food was pretty much garbage. I really have no intention of returning this year. And Ash is right, charging a three year old to eat is nuts.

Thats terrible. Considering the table next to you probably threw away 10x the food Nolan would have eaten. I wonder what they would have done if he just grabbed things off your plate?
