I know there are varied opinions on this, but we love the Sea Captain's House for breakfast. This trip we ate there three times, but being on a diet, I really didn't get my moneys worth. Food is good and sitting by the ocean while dining is the greatest.

I agree we love Sea Captains House breakfast also. The view is amazing. I will say though the House of Blues Breakfast ranks up there on the top of our list too. This was our second year to give it a try and it was very good. Wish I had some right now

Deanna, we had talked about the House of Blues, but when you arrive and leave on a Sunday it's hard to make it there. I have to agree that the Gospel Brunch is a must do!!

We seldom eat breakfast out, but we love the Sea Captain's Sunday Brunch. It's served from 11:30 - 2:30 every Sunday, and the price is around $12.00. (Call and ask because I'm not dead certain on the price but that's close.) If someone doesn't want the buffet, they can order off the menu.

Hey Ron House of Blues serves breakfast every day of the week($6.99) not just the gospel brunch.(I think that is what you meant). I am not certain but I believe they just started serving every day last year. It's alot lot Sea Captains buffet. They have the made to order eggs/omelet maker, biscuits, gravy, fried potato's (yummy), bacon, sausage links, fruit, preserves and waffles.

Also big fans of the Sea Captains.... any time of the day ! George the "omelet guy" is a hoot, and I love their biscuits/gravy and corned beef hash (sorry Ron, this has gotta hurt...).

We also go for lunch (since we frequently stay at the Caribbean) and at the end of lunch get a couple more To-Go orders to hold for dinner. Great value (almost dinner-size entrees) and taste great warmed up.

Per Deanna....."Wish I had some right now" !!!!!!!!!!!!

Will have to try the House of Blues Gospel brunch our next trip !

Deanna, thanks for the info about HOB serving breakfast every day! I did not know that or we would have gone! Breakfast is Phyllis' favorite time for dining out!! I'll have to make sure to tell her for our next trip down!!!

We ladies headed out to the Sea Captains House for breakfast this morning

We all enjoyed our food. In the pic to follow my eyes were a little bigger than my stomach but I wanted to try a little of everything.

I will have to say the pancakes and french toast were excellent. Sorry I didn't take a pic...

The service was great and so was the food. The Sea Captains Breakfast gets ***** from me.

Here is a pic of our breakfast view just in case you have never visited the Sea Captains House. It really is a beautiful place to dine.
