We have also wanted to try this spot for years and finally got there. We arrived at 4:20 and the parking lot was packed! When we went inside the bar area, which is a good sized area, it was packed wall to wall. When we went into the dining room there were only people at two tables. It got much busier later. I had heard about the bang bang shrimp from another report so ordered it as an appetizer. Dave ordered the saucy shrimp appetizer. Then we ordered our meal. I had Mahi Mahi Thermidor and Dave ordered the 8oz. Filet. I asked the waiter why the crowd in the bar. He said that on Wednesday the Happy Hour special was $6.00 bang bang shrimp and $3 wine and $1 off the beer. WELL! My bang bang shrimp came and honestly it was huge. I could have had it for a meal. No wonder the bar was full of people! I commented to the waiter if I had known the amount I wouldn't have ordered a meal too. Well I must say my meal was wonderful. The fish was topped with one shrimp, crab meat and lobster. The Thermidor sauce had just a small hint of heat and was delicious. Dave's filet was done perfectly. We both really enjoyed our meal but far too much food. Next trip I would either go for the Happy Hour special or go for the meal. Our bill including two beer and two glasses of wine was $75.

I love Bang Bang Shrimp and it has been way too long since I have had it.

Thanks for sharing...

Bonefish is ALWAYS good. When locals plan to celebrate their birthday or anniversary there, you KNOW it must be good! (I have made a meal of the Bang Bang Shrimp! Delicious!)
