We decided to grab a quick dinner that nobody had to get fixed up for and hopped over to Greg's. We've always heard they had the best burgers on the Strand and three of us decided to go with a burger while I opted for the Thursday night special a rack of ribs for $11.99. It was a great choice for all of us. Didn't matter if you ordered a plain cheeseburger or the fancier greek burger they were all very good and cooked perfectly. The ribs were also very good. Throw in a side on onion rings and a few cold corona's and we were out the door for 4 of us for like $50. Definitely a great place and it was packed.

Wow. Had wanted to try the place for years but didn't know how kid friendly it would be. Supposed to have the best burgers at the beach. We had a 2,6, and 8 year old with us and although not a huge amount of kids in the place there was a few. No kids menu that we saw but they do have things like cheese sticks and french fries on the menu, so you can find something they will eat. We got lucky and sit in the back next to a claw machine full of stuffed animals and the kids actually enjoyed the place more than any place we ate last week.

We went for the $12.99 full rack of ribs they have on special every Tuesday and Thursday. $7.99 for half rack. Have to say they were excellent. Not a huge amount of sauce but a really nice flavor. Everyone in our party that had them said they were great. I did try a couple of bites of a burger that my daughter had left and would love to go back on a Monday for their $5.99 burger day. It was excellent. They have really good daily specials. The place was absolutely packed by the time we had left, so you know that the food is special considering it sits only a few feet off the side of the road and parking is very limited unless you park next door at Walmart which most do. It will definitely be an annual stop for us from now on.

Surfside. Another community of stop lights I race through. Maybe next time I will bicycle & take time to smell the smoke coming from exhaust fans. If it were not for these new posts, visitors like me could continue to ride around with blinders on.

Good food all up and down the strand and hidden gems everywhere. I filled up the SUV right after we got off I-95 north on the way in and didn't put another drop of gas in it until I filled up on 501 beside Tangers on the way out. Never made it north of Broadway at the Beach or south of the Lazy Gator in Murrell's Inlet. Found everything we wanted to do or eat within that boundary.
