Does anyone know what the menu is for Happy Hour at the 2nd Ave Pier bar? I went on their website but didn't see anything about the menu for HH. Thanks!

They used to have a rum cocktail which I ordered several times as a "happy hour" special. Seems to me it was around $4. I don't see it on this menu...nor do I see any other drink specials. I guess you'll have to ask when you get there. You'll really enjoy the view!

Thanks, Patrish. I think I will give them a call. I could only find that menu from your link, but nothing about Happy Hour.

Check out this great Myrtle Beach Happy Hour link. Scroll down to Pier View Open Air Bar for drink specials, no food specials mentioned.

We were down at the 2nd Ave. pier 3 days ago. Should have posted these sooner, but haven't found the time I need to get 'er done.

1. Pier View Happy Hour

2. You can see a small part of the 2nd Ave Pier in the far left. The beach was really busy...around 4 PM

Wow where is everyone at on the pier? When we were there last July and September it was crawling with people.

Here's my reason. We really wanted to go there for Happy Hour, We parked, got on the elevator......and when we got off on the 3rd floor, we we were hit by what felt like an arctic wind. I said to Wally "Holy Jimminy Cricket, I can NOT sit out here. My fingers will freeze on the glass in 10 seconds flat.

Why was it so cold here as opposed to a few blocks south where people were frolicking in the waves? I have no idea, I just couldn't stay there. So we got back in the car and drove to 6th Ave. N where we "discovered "Sharkey's." Now it looks like it may not be a discovery, after all....but the big bar had plenty of sun, and it was a pleasant experience.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

We finally got to see what the fuss was all about! Misti, Sarah, and I met Patrish and Wally for lunch last Wednesday, and enjoyed the food and the view! Misti ordered a salad with grilled shrimp which she said was very good. Wally recommended the Boardwalk BBQ sandwich, and he and Sarah both ordered that. It must have been good because Sarah devoured it in about one quick minute. Patrish and I must have been thinking the same thing because we both ordered the shrimp salad wrap. I can't speak for her, but I thought it was delicious and I ate the whole thing!

Great company made the meal even better. We will definitely be back, especially for the views!

Thanks for posting this, Scott. I am so far behind on my life I feel like I'll never get caught up. As many of you know, I am doing family photography and it has been a very, very busy summer.

Yes, we had a great lunch with Misti and Sarah. Food was good and so was the company. These two WVA boys tickle me to death.Y'all would think they have known each other forever.

On the same day they had lunch, we had an appointment for Sarah's graduation photos. I'll post some photos,I'll post the link just below if you want to see a beautiful young lady who was a pleasure to work with on the beach,

Here's Sarah's short gallery of some photos:
