Deanna,

We had to spend the last 11 months in Canada taking care of miscellaneous things.
We are returning for good on April 21st and we are so happy. :nanner:

I miss it so much, it aches!

This last year, being away, made us realize even more that Myrtle Beach is our home! :sunny:

I absolutley LOVE River City Cafe! Our family has a tradition where we all go here for lunch on our first day in MB!!! I look forward to it every year. My fave one is the one in surfside! It's right on the beach. Wonderful view!

My parents and I got carry out from River City Cafe (208 73rd Ave N) on September 9th. I've been reading the glowing reviews here from several recent trip reports, so I thought it would be great for dinner. They were right down the street and we hadn't eaten there in a couple of years.

I got the friend zucchini appetizer. It was slices of zucchini battered and breaded with avocado ranch on the side. For my main meal, I had the turkey burger with a creamy bleu cheese spread and lettuce, onion, and pickles. Both my parents had the prime-angus burgers with cheddar cheese and lettuce, tomato and pickles. We all split an order of onion rings.

The food was excellent, cheap, fulling, and we will definitely eat at that location again.

We eat at this location quite a bit since we usually stay at the Long Bay. We have always been happy with the food and service and it is very affordable.

My parents and I ordered take out from here on 9/5/15. I ordered a grilled turkey burger, with monterey jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle and fried egg. I also ordered an appetizer of their sweet potato waffle fries. My mom ordered a prime-angus burger, with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles. My dad also ordered a prime-angus burger, with american cheddar, lettuce, pickles, fries, and slaw. Their menu states their burgers are fresh, never frozen, and they're correct! We've never had a bad meal from River City. The quality remains the same every time we go to this location.
