We ate at the 73rd Ave. location as we normally do on our first night in since it is convenient to where we stay in Myrtle Beach. It's an easy walk from Monterey Bay and a very nice walk on the beach on the way back! Service was pretty good but a bit slow. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato & mayo and Danny had the Bacon Cheeseburger with the works! Food was very good and cooked as requested. Cost was less than $30 plus tip. We will eat there again!

I think the 73rd Ave location is now my second favorite (with #1 being the Surfside Pier). I like the festive atmosphere at the outside bar where you can see the waterpark at the hotel next door.

I love their burgers, but I went there once while on a golf trip during Lent. Couldn't have meat that day, so I tried the Blackened Mahi-Mahi Reuben Sandwich. HOLY COW was that good. Ever since then (3 years ago), I have been getting that sandwich instead of a burger on every visit.

Glad you had a good meal there, Karen. Another selling point for the area in that you can walk to a good restaurant for lunch or dinner.

This is the RCC we visit most often (Barefoot Landing is our second favorite!)!! We usually stay at the Long Bay Resort and love having it right next door! Always fantastic food and great service, except we missed having the peanut buckets in May!

No.

It is located behind the Sand Dunes Resort. You can easily walk the little road down to the beach after you eat.

River City Cafe is one of our personal favorite dining spots. We've been to the BFLanding location, the 73rd Ave location and our favorite, the 21st Ave location. I've tried a fair amount of their burger creations and one of these times, I'm going to give the OMG burger an attempt. Cheers!!

This location is in walking distance from the Caravelle, where we are staying this year so this place is on our "to do" list for food. Never been, but looks really good for some cheeseburger type meals!

We had our Valentine's Day meal today at the River City Cafe at the Surfside Beach oceanfront location (beside the Surfside Pier).

They automatically served a french fry-type container of peanuts as soon as we were seated, plus have a station posted for folks to help themselves to the peanuts and containers.

Here's the link to some photos - and yes, that "Philly Cheeseburger" was every bit as delicious as it looks...

The outside bar area has a view of the Sands Waterpark, so it is pretty festive outside. I really like this location.

That's very close to where we live. We love walking down to River City Cafe, and then going for a stroll on the beach!
